inspired by my former life in new orleans, and closet obsession with shiny objects, I began creating art from these leftover remnants of mardi gras festivities about fifteen years ago...
it all started with furniture and then developed into the 'paintings' that continue to emerge today.
each piece is created from an array of sparkling and vibrant mardi beads, of varying sizes and textures, on a plywood base with a beaded 'frame'.
